Postal Facilities
McKenzie is served by a first-class post office. The service provides five incoming and five outgoing deliveries daily. McKenzie is the sectional center for all 382 zip codes. Additionally, the city also has daily United Parcel Service and FedEx service.

Telephone
BellSouth Telephone Company provides a modern, seven-digit dialing system, including direct distance dialing, and serves approximately 9,000 customers. South Central Bell began providing digital services to the area in 1990.

Newspapers
The McKenzie Banner, with a circulation of 6,200, is a weekly paper serving McKenzie and surrounding areas. The Commercial Appeal, Nashville Banner, Nashville Tennessean and The Jackson Sun are daily newspapers delivered in McKenzie.

Television
Though McKenzie has no local television station, it is adequately served locally by Charter Communications, which gives excellent reception from WBBJ-TV in Jackson, WHBQ-TV and WREG-TV in Memphis, as well as stations from Nashville, Tennessee; Paducah, Kentucky; and Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Charter Communications features WTBS in Atlanta, ESPN, CNN, Home Box Office and other cable stations.
